MAX phase ceramics (including titanium silicon carbide, Ti3AlC2 materials, etc.) is a new type of machinable conductive ceramic material that has attracted much attention. Ti3SiC2 was successfully synthesized by the research group of Professor Barsoum M of Drexel University in the United States in 1996 by hot pressing, and its excellent properties were discovered.
